Rooted in the Vine, your plans flourish without striving; His peace becomes your pace—John 15

Fun Facts about Me

I’ve lived in Northern California for most of my life and graduated from a small university nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I earned my degree in Business and Entrepreneurship—you could say I was always meant to do this work!

In early 2020, I met my best friend and now husband on eHarmony—God truly has the best timing. In 2022, I moved to San Antonio and got married—again, a reminder that His plans are always perfect.

I’m a wife, mom to a Corgi, and a follower of Jesus. I light up when I bring order to chaos—seriously, I love checklists!

When I’m not at the computer, you’ll usually find me:

Spending quality time with my family

Enjoying the sunshine on a walk

Deep in a good Bible study

Writing—my journey began with a love of poetry,

and I still carry that passion for words today

More About Me

I’m Nicole Keeler, your behind-the-scenes, Donor Development Coordinator who finds purpose in the steady, unseen work that helps ministries thrive. My passion lives where faith meets structure… where donor retention becomes an ongoing expression of gratitude… and where a well-organized CRM becomes a reliable bridge between generosity and long-term impact.

I’ve supported ministries and nonprofits by gathering scattered donor stories, bringing clarity to data, and helping leaders breathe a little easier. I’ve learned that when the roots are cared for—the systems, the relationships, the intentional follow-up, the fruit arrives in its time, strong and lasting.

I started Nicole Keeler Virtual Vine after 10 years of working in a corporate office, retail shops providing customer relationship management. My latest job, I worked as a Development Coordinator for Adult & Teen Challenge.

This was the seed to my desire: to help non-profit leaders find rest, rhythm, and relief in your work.

I know what it’s like to carry too much—to feel called to something meaningful, but overwhelmed by the behind-the-scenes tasks. That’s where I come in.

I love organizing, planning, entering in every detail. My heart beats for creating long lasting customer relationships. The Nurture that can only come from a human, and not a bot. That doesn't mean I don't believe in streamlining processes with automations.

With years of experience in ministry, admin, and behind-the-scenes support, I offer more than just task help—I bring peace, prayer, and practical solutions.

My heart is to come alongside nonprofit founders—and serve with excellence, consistency, and grace.

Losing our Reflection

AI Headshots

The Risk of Losing Our Reflection

Like many of you, I’ve seen those sleek ads for AI-generated headshots — promising the perfect professional photo in just a few clicks. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try.

I uploaded ten photos of myself, ones that felt like “me,” and waited for the magic to happen. A few minutes later, AI presented thirty new versions — each one polished, radiant, and confidently posed. But as I scrolled through them, a strange feeling crept in. They were beautiful, yes, but they didn’t feel real.

It looked like me… but it wasn’t me.

AI Headshot

It was a projection — an idealized version of who I thought I should be. And that realization tugged at something deeper in my heart.

For years, I’ve been learning what it means to love the person I see in the mirror — the one God carefully and intentionally created. Confidence doesn’t come from perfect lighting or flawless edits; it comes from knowing you were designed with purpose.

That moment made me think about something I’ve always loved when visiting a company’s website. I tend to linger on the “About Us” page — looking at the team, reading their stories, and seeing the smiles that tell you something about their hearts. When someone’s photo includes their family, their dog, or a glimpse of their favorite hobby, it makes the organization feel alive.

Because real faces tell real stories.

In an AI-driven world where it’s easier than ever to hide behind filters and perfect portrayals, what we’re truly longing for isn’t perfection — it’s connection. We crave authenticity, honesty, and a sense that the person on the other side of the screen is genuinely human.

Maybe what we need most right now isn’t the perfect image, but the courage to show up unfiltered. To let the light God placed within us shine through — just as we are.

About us

Wrinkles erased.
Scars softened.
Freckles gone.

Our identity — so precious, so intentional — slowly fades away. It’s the fingerprint that makes each of us unique, and yet in a world that claims to celebrate individuality, we’re quietly encouraged to erase it. One filter at a time, we’re shaped to sound and look nothing like ourselves. We don’t even look like someone else anymore — we look like something manufactured. A collection of pixels.

We live in an age where everything is at our fingertips — tools that can polish, tweak, refine, and perfect in seconds. AI can help us write, design, and even edit who we appear to be. But it leaves me asking: What do we become then? Who do we become then?

Line by line, we risk being erased — polished into an image we were never created from.

In this world of filters and facades, maybe what we need most isn’t the perfect image, but the courage to show up as we are — unfiltered, unedited, and unmistakably human.

Because when we embrace who God created us to be, we don’t just reflect ourselves — we reflect Him.

Final Encouragement

Whether your nonprofit is just beginning its digital journey or ready to take the next step, know that growth doesn’t happen overnight—but it does happen through collaboration, consistency, and care.

Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh set of eyes (and a heart that understands the mission) to help your message reach the people who need it most.

You don’t have to do everything to stay faithful.
You simply need to do what you were called to — and surround yourself with support that lets you flourish in that calling.

When you release the administrative load, you make room for fruit that lasts.

“Abide in Me, and you will bear much fruit.” — John 15:5
